In The Works

So the other day when I realized that I wasn't going to be able to go on a J-term trip next year because I would have to be spending my time in a class so that I can graduate next spring (cross your fingers). I was really bummed I have been planning on going on this trip for years and now that it can't happen I am a little sad. Then while I was in the shower the other day, I had this crazy fun idea pop into my head. What about a road trip? Where might you ask, North Carolina.

Erica and I have already started planning, we've decided we are going to go during the summer next year and that we are going to rent a vacation house with an ocean front view and a beach. Talk about heaven, I am sighing just thinking about it. I've already found the house that I want to book, I'll even share a picture with you guys and the link if you want to go check it out. But just promise me you wont go and book the house for yourselves haha... I just really hope that everything will work out and the friends that we invite to come with us will want to. Cause I don't know about them but Maxie is really feeling like a vacation. ;-)

On a side note Erica and I both made a pack with each other. When one of us gets into a situation where we find ourselves wanting to by an article of clothing, pairs of shoes, or anything that really isn't needed. We are to call one another right away and remind each other about the beach and sand between our toes, oh and the cute boys ;-) that way we don't buy and we end up saving money for our trip. My mom thought it was funny when I told her. Hopefully it works.
